Our Final Exam is Thursday, July 28, 10:45 to 1:15 p.m.
- Homework #1 due June 23.
- Exam 1 is June 23.
- Homework #2, due July 5
- Homework #3, due July 14
- In class, someone mentioned a JNI error.
I recently ran across it, too, and the link shows what I changed
to get the program to work.
I edited a copy called "hmwk3_v2.j" in a separate window.
The problem is that it used the same
local variables for different things, so the solution involves
additional local variables, and consistent usage of them.
Also, notice how the program does not quit
when I enter "q", but it does quit when I enter "Q". Should it
quit on "q"? (The program does not actually check the input,
at the moment, it simply does this in a loop.)
- Exam 2 is July 14.
- Homework #4, due July 28
If you were not able to complete hmwk3 by July 14,
please talk to your professor.
- I posted a new file on solar called "hmwk3_solution.j". You can
use this as a starting point for homework 4. Remember to acknowledge
this in the comments.
